I think that this sums it all up. These books have a lot of similarity with the things they do. But also have a lot of differences as well. They all tell a great story. They teach you sort of a life lesson in my perspective.
In Necatr in a Sieve, Nathan is sort of like an Okonkwo in a way. he is the leader of his family. He provides and does everything he can to supprot his family. Okonkwo is a well respected leader and also does the same I think in just a little more brutal way.
In Nectar in a Sieve, The life style seems nothing like Things Fall Apart and Persepolis. The only similar thing from this besides the death at the end is that they have a strong work ethic. They work so that they can live and Okonkwo works as a yam farmer. Yams are the king's crop. They also farm in Nectar in a Sieve.
Some different things about these books is that in Things Fall Apart, the life style is so much different. Here you can have numerous wives it seems and they do different activities than the other places. They have the annual wrestling match which is basically their entertainment. Most of the people especially Ekwefi are excited to see it. Her reason is because that is where Okonkwo won her heart when he beat the Cat.

Earlier I mentioned that in Nectar in a Sieve her chldren began to die. Well in Things Fall Apart, the same thing happened to Ekwefi. She was having children and they were all dying. But there was a reason for it. Her reason was like a religious or spiritual thing  in their tribe or clan. Her children in Nectar in a Sieve died form hunger form being poor.
One similar thing that all the books have in common is that something tragic such as a death occurs in the end of the books. In Things Fall Apart, Okonkwo hangs himself in the end. In Nectar in a Sieve, Nathan dies of illness. In Persepolis as Marji is leaving something happens to her mother.
Nectar in a Sieve is a good book. It talks about the Indian culture. She had to get married at a young age. She was ashamed at where she had to live. A lot of bad and good things happen in this book mostly bad though. They become very poor and because of that the children almost all begin to die of hunger. In the end Nathan becomes ill and he also dies.
