Nectar in a Sieve is a good book. It talks about the Indian culture. She had to get married at a young age. She was ashamed at where she had to live. A lot of bad and good things happen in this book mostly bad though. They become very poor and because of that the children almost all begin to die of hunger. In the end Nathan becomes ill and he also dies.
