Things Fall Apart is a book about Okonkwo's life in Nigeria. He is a well respected leader in the clan. He earned his title by doing numerous great things. He has three wives and they have children. He despises his father. he wants to be nothing like him because he is weak and lazy. He also has a lot of debts. Many important events happen such as the christians coming towards the end. He becomes basically overwhelmed with the whole situation and hangs himself.
